![]() ![]() You’ll find our recording of their performance of Havana below: The venue was small- so we were able to see the dancing and facial expressions close up! It was PHENOMENAL Then, much shouting, screaming and chanting brought on an encore: I can’t emphasize how close we were! WHAT TO EXPECT: The Line Up There weren’t any screens- and honestly- we didn’t really need them! While it was difficult to see over waving light sticks and cell phones, we were able to see ok. We have NEVER BEEN SO CLOSE before! It was absolutely surreal! ![]() The theater was a mere 33ft X 45ft with a stage only 25ft long. Just the same- we were ecstatic to have seen him!!! The Venue He was crouched close to the ground and surrounded by production people which made it hard to capture in a photograph. They looked confused and shortly Hui himself came out and started rummaging through them. and were rewarded!Īs it turned out, a big van pulled up and people started taking out suitcases and looking through them. We noticed some large unmarked vans coming in, and a conspicuous looking police officer who kept eyeing us sternly. While this truly isn’t a great shot- we truly DID see Hui a few hours before the concert started! We were so surprised that by the time we pulled out our phones, we were unable to catch a good shot. When the day finally came, we headed out. We spent weeks listening to all of Pentagon’s recordings and studying the members faces to prepare for the event. Where B is the area of a triangular base and h is the height (the distance between the two parallel bases) of the triangular prism.Pentagon kicked off the North American portion of their 2019 World Tour in Toronto Canada! Pre-ShowĪs huge fans of “ Shine” and “ Naughty Boy” we quickly snatched up tickets when we heard that Pentagon was coming to Canada. The volume, V, of a triangular prism is the area of one of its bases times its height: Often, a regular triangular prism is implied to be a right triangular prism. Therefore, if the bases of the triangular prism are equilateral triangles, it is a regular triangular prism. A regular prism is defined by a prism whose bases are regular polygons. Triangular prisms can also be classified based on the type of triangle that forms its base. Otherwise it is an oblique triangular prism. If the bases are perpendicular to the lateral faces, meaning they meet at right angles, it is a right triangular prism. Triangular prisms can be classified based on how their bases and lateral faces intersect or meet. Classifying triangular prisms based on their intersecting faces This is true for any parallel cross section of a triangular prism. They are congruent to the two triangular bases of the triangular prism since they are formed by cross sections that are in planes parallel to the bases. Two triangular cross sections for the triangular prism are shown in green above. It also has 9 edges and 6 vertices.Īny cross section of a triangular prism that is parallel to the bases forms a triangle that is congruent to the bases. Triangular prisms, like the one above, have a total of 5 faces, with 2 bases and 3 lateral faces. A vertex is the point of intersection of three edges. An edge is a line segment formed by the intersection of two adjacent faces. There are three lateral faces for a triangular prism. The lateral faces (sides that are not bases) are parallelograms, rectangles, or squares. Properties of a triangular prismĪ triangular prism is a polyhedron that has two parallel and congruent triangles called bases. In the figure below are three types of triangular prisms.
