![]() P.s, the whole experience on the iPhone version might be better, don't know, never tried. In an ideal world we would have standards for controller firmware for Android phones and Razer won't be pulling this shit. The new accessory is designed to offer users better grip as if they are holding. Seriously, one of the pointless pieces of tech i ever purchased. The Backbone One controller looks different from Razers Kishi and even the Nintendo Switchs standard Joy-Cons. But its way less comfortable than the xbox controller and when at home i prefer the full experience. The only real use case i could find, is remote playing my PC when at home. Definitely 2022, and the technology at Razer is not there that they need to re-invent the wheel and release a 2nd device to the market with the same problems as the 1st model. Rendering the whole device pretty much useless.Īll i wanted was to play simple mobile games on my phone using a small sized controller when commuting but seems like i was asking for too much. ![]() It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, giving you another way to listen to audio. ![]() The biggest con for both Razer Kishi is that games that work well with xbox gamepad, don't work with the Kishi. The Backbone One features passthrough Lightning charging, with support for Lightning headphones if you have a set. The second-generation Razer Kishi is here for iPhone users with a new design, better buttons, and a companion app. ![]() The first-generation Razer Kishi for iPhone is now available from 55 at. As someone who has v1, and barely is using it (really trying to find use cases) i see no reason to get the 2nd model. Backbone One is a different breed of accessory, with calculated hardware and software that tie the experience together. ![]()
